Halloween long division worksheets for 4th and 5th grade
Long division with remainders is taught in 4th grade with three- and four-digit dividends, and practiced again in 5th grade. A routine that children repeat the same way each time is what makes it click.
There are two Halloween long division pages: one with 12 three-digit by one-digit problems with remainders (a good 4th grade level), and one with 12 four-digit by one-digit problems with remainders (more steps, for later in 4th grade or 5th grade). Each has an answer key showing every quotient and remainder. The 4th-5th Grade Halloween pack includes long division without and then with remainders, alongside multiplication and fractions.
The year-round Long Division pack has 20 pages if you want to start with 2-digit dividends.
