Thanksgiving math worksheets for 1st grade

In 1st grade, November is a good time to firm up addition and subtraction within 20 before the winter break. Fall-themed pages are an easy way to fit practice into Thanksgiving week.

We have two single fall pages for 1st grade: one with 20 addition facts with sums up to 20, and one with 20 subtraction facts within 20. Each comes with its answer key. Tips

• Use doubles: if 7 + 7 = 14, then 7 + 8 is one more.
• For subtraction, count up from the smaller number.
• Keep sessions to 10-15 minutes.
