Thanksgiving week math review for 2nd grade
A short school week is a useful time to revisit familiar skills rather than start a large new unit. Choose one review target from recent work: trading a ten, reading a three-digit number or explaining the nearest ten. These are regular skill packs, so they also work after Thanksgiving.

Tips
- Model 42 minus 17 by trading one ten for ten ones before using the written method.
- For rounding, locate both neighboring tens before choosing the closer one.
