Halloween math worksheets for 6th grade

Sixth grade is when algebra starts: writing and solving simple equations, and evaluating expressions in the right order. A short Halloween page is an easy way to fit some review into late October.

There are two Halloween pages that fit 6th grade: 18 one-step equations using all four operations, and 12 order of operations problems with and without parentheses. Each has an answer key. For a longer run of equation practice, the One-Step Equations pack has 20 pages: addition and subtraction equations, multiplication and division, a mixed review and equation word problems.

Our full Halloween packs stop at 4th-5th grade, so these single pages are the 6th grade Halloween option.

• Solve by doing the opposite operation to both sides.
• Check each solution by substituting it back in.
