Halloween math centers for kindergarten
A Halloween math center works best when children already know the routine. Put out one counting or picture-addition page, a small tub of counters and pencils. Model one example before children begin; the theme adds interest without adding a new set of directions.
The Halloween K-1 pack has 20 practice pages, moving from counting pictures to 10 and 20 into picture addition, subtraction, facts and missing numbers. Choose only the early counting and within-10 pages for children who are still building those skills. Later pages can wait until they are ready.
Try a three-part rotation: count the pictures, show the same quantity with counters, then explain one answer to a partner. The plain Addition Within 10 pack gives more focused practice after October, while Addition and Subtraction Within 20 provides a later progression. The Halloween K-5 bundle includes this pack and the 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th grade packs for mixed-age planning.

The pack is a US Letter PDF (A4 works with fit to page): 20 practice pages, a 20-page answer key, a how-to page with tips for parents and teachers, a color-in progress tracker and a cover page. Download it right after checkout and print as many copies as you need for your family or one classroom.
Tips
- Set out only the page for the skill you have taught, rather than the entire pack.
- Use counters large enough for children to move and count individually.
- Check one problem together before independent work, then use the key to review.
