Halloween telling time worksheet

Reading an analog clock to the nearest 5 minutes is a 2nd grade standard. It depends on knowing the hour hand from the minute hand and counting by 5s around the face.

This single Halloween page has 12 clock faces; children read each one and write the time, to the nearest 5 minutes. It comes with an answer key. Tips

• Find the hour hand first and say the hour.
• Count by 5s from the 12 to the minute hand.
• If the hour hand is between two numbers, use the smaller one.
