Money worksheets for 2nd grade

In 2nd grade, children learn to count mixed coins and solve simple money problems. Then making change, counting up from the price to the amount paid, follows in 2nd and 3rd grade.

Counting Coins goes in order: pennies and nickels, then dimes, then quarters, up to $1.50. Making Change starts with paying with a dollar and counting up with coins, then moves to $5 and bigger bills, buying two items, story problems and a mixed review. Each pack has 20 pages and a full answer key.

Most 2nd graders start with Counting Coins and move to Making Change once mixed coins feel easy.
