Christmas gift list by person spreadsheet
Start a Christmas gift list with people rather than deals. Give each recipient a planned amount, write down an idea and check the total before shopping. If you buy several gifts for one person, use a separate row for each gift and divide that person's allowance between the rows.
The Christmas Gift Tracker has 200 gift rows with recipient, group, idea, budget, actual cost, store, status and tracking number or notes. Status moves from Idea to Bought, Wrapped and Given. The dashboard shows total spending, remaining holiday budget and gift progress, while over-budget gifts are flagged.
Record the actual cost once you buy, and update the status again when you wrap. Decorations, travel and other holiday extras have their own budgets and purchase log. The Holiday Meal Planner handles the menu and groceries separately; the 2027 Budget Planner supports next year's planning. All three, plus the Goal and Habit Tracker, are in the Holiday Planner Bundle. This is an organizing tool, not financial or tax advice.

You get two files, a blank template and a filled-in example, plus a Start Here guide. Open them in Microsoft Excel, or upload them to Google Drive and open them with Google Sheets (free). You type in the input cells; the formulas, totals and charts update themselves.
Tips
- Split a recipient's allowance across gift rows instead of repeating their full allowance on every row.
- Use the store and notes fields for receipt or delivery reminders.
- Review gifts still at Idea before buying anything extra.
