Christmas gift wrapping checklist spreadsheet
A wrapping checklist answers a different question from a shopping list: which gifts are already bought but still need to reach the recipient? Keep one row per gift, use a consistent recipient name and update its status when the real-world step is finished. Several gifts for one person should stay on separate rows so one wrapped item does not hide an unfinished one.
The Christmas Gift Tracker has 200 gift rows with recipient, group, gift idea, budget, actual cost, store, status and tracking number or notes. Its listed statuses are Idea, Bought, Wrapped and Given. Use Bought while a gift still needs wrapping, move it to Wrapped when finished, and mark Given after handoff. Record delivery details in notes; there is no automatic carrier lookup or separate built-in Arrived status.
Before a wrapping session, review the Bought rows and gather the gifts, labels and supplies. Enter wrapping purchases in the separate other-holiday-spending log so those costs are included once. The dashboard summarizes gift status, spending and over-budget items. For broader planning, the Holiday Meal Planner and 2027 Budget Planner are separate templates, also included with this tracker and the Goal and Habit Tracker in the Holiday and New Year Planner Bundle. Not financial or tax advice.

Tips
- Write a recipient label before wrapping so similar packages do not get mixed up.
- Keep a gift marked Bought until you have actually wrapped it.
- Put a shared shipping or wrapping cost in one appropriate spending entry, avoiding duplicate totals.
